"Mr. and Mrs. Kim" was one of two thesis films I wrote while a graduate fellow at the American Film Institute.

 

It is a heartfelt family comedy about a boy with a wild imagination. Embarrassed by his parents, he concocts a story about them that's so wild that his tall tale literally comes to life and takes his class by storm.

 

"Mr. and Mrs. Kim' was a semi-finalist at NBC Universal's Short Film Festival and the grand prize winner of Amazon Prime's All Voices Short Film Festival (2019). You can watch the film
